Taking these into the stuff under the bonnet, the engineers at Kicherer has done lifting the output up to a total 470HP and 690Nm. This upped-output from 408HP and 600 Nm of torque thanks to a software update and the use of a new sports exhaust system. The CLS Edition Black also received Kicherer PowerConverter.
