The real one still under the concept stage, but it doesn't make Afzal Kahn to share his ideas for the concept. We're talking about the Land Rover Defender DC100 Concept that the manufacturer introduced it few weeks ago and to be featured at this year’s Frankfurt auto show. Kahn has been creating a number of sketches used the first official photo (image above), done which as you can see the complete at below.

Kahn's ideas are including new wheels, Cosworth-powered, and, as always, a bespoke interior which allows the customers to fill their own desires.

Introducing the 2012 Kahn defender

London, September 2011 – At this precise moment, in the heart of Project Kahn’s systematic laboratory where all designs come to realisation, the design team led by principal British designer Afzal Kahn, have begun on some (strikingly styled) Kahn treatment of the Land Rover Defender to be launched via the Kahn expedition vehicles brand in 2012.

These designs feature the kind of treatment that makes Project Kahn’s bespoke vehicles a favourite amongst discerning customers – and with the engine set to be taken care of by Cosworth, expect the Defender’s 2.4 litre diesel engine to top the current 122hp/90kW and 360Nm of torque with 90 percent of peak power on tap from less than 2,200rpm to over 4,350rpm.

Afzal Kahn does not envisage the Kahn Defender to be some sort of people carrier – it will be a speedier yet hard-core off-roader that’s unstoppable in the rough, whether confronted with thick mud trains, uneven riverbeds or alarmingly steep inclines.
